CHEF-SACHE 2016; 25-26 SEPTEMBER

“Getting to know professional chefs and inspiring them to use (even more) fruit and vegetables in the kitchen”- that’s one of the reasons for our participation at Chef-Sache 2016.

But that’s not all. Another matter is to gather inspiration ourselves – by keeping an eye at professional chefs, their suppliers (e.g. Koppert Cress) and the workshops given by top chefs like Jonnie Boer, Andreas Döllerer, André Chiang and Joachim Wissler.

 

The development of fruit and vegetables  in professional kitchens

We notice that the amount of fruit and vegetables used in professional kitchens is steadily growing. Because of health benefits on the one hand, on the other, because professional chefs are starting to realize that fruit and vegetables offer a huge number of possibilities to continuously surprise their guests. Colour and taste are distinctive and make the perfect composition with a piece of quality fish or meat. One has to admit that a colourful plate in combination with a thoughtful composition will always evoke positive reactions.

 

Chef-Sache 2015

In 2015, the Sous Fresh Chefs Inspration Award was staged at Chef-Sache. The task was to create a dish with fruit and/or vegetables in the lead. We received fantastic contributions and were able to select a strong top 3, with Lars Middendorf, Restaurant De Superette in Gent as a winner and Julia Komp, head chef at Schloss Loersfeld as first runner up.

At Chef-Sache we will be present at fair booth no. B09 right next to Koppert Cress.

Our advisors will be on site and tell you all about the inspiring fruit and vegetable assortment that Sous Fresh has to offer and which is particularly adapted to the needs of professional chefs.

We are talking about our range of basic products, as well as our exclusive “Chefs Inspiration” assortment here. Piece by piece extraordinary fresh fruit and vegetables, which we supply  chefs with each day, by the means of our partners in Germany.

And we won’t come to Cologne empty-handed, we’re going to give you something to take with you.
