back to product overview

Fresh bay leaves are a herb that you probably know mostly in its dried form.

The oval green leaves of fresh bay leaves lend a delicious herby flavour to dishes, especially if you cook them nice and long. Dried leaves give a more intense flavour than fresh leaves.

Bay leaves themselves are not edible, so you must remove them from the dish before serving.

When to serve
Store fresh bay leaves in the refrigerator. Wrap them in damp kitchen paper or a damp tea towel. That will ensure they last for a few days.
